In a first, authorities will soon be conducting random rapid antigen tests at the main intersections of Dehradun to fight the ongoing second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in Uttarakhand. SP City Sarita Dobhal informed that the government issued orders regarding conducting random rapid antigen tests at the main intersections of Dehradun. Police will also be deployed along with the medical teams to conduct random COVID-19 testing. This process will be implemented soon after discussions with high officials. If anyone turns out to be positive during the random testing for COVID-19, he/she will be home quarantined.
