In a recent development, the Uttarakhand govt released orders stating extension in the market timings by 4 hours. As per the new SOP, the markets will open from 8 AM till 5 PM on June 9, June 11, and June 14. The SOP was issued on June 8 by Chief Secretary Om Prakash.
The SOP also notified regarding sanitization of the railway station, bus stands, markets, sabzi mandi, other public places, and residential areas.
