The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall in different parts of Uttarakhand for the next three days. The Department issued an orange alert given heavy rains in Chamoli, Kumaon, Pauri, and Rudraprayag. Over 50 connectivity roads remain blocked in the state, affecting the supply of daily items in several villages. In Uttarkashi, roads are being blocked now and then because of landslides in many places.
In the Bageshwar district of Kumaon, nearly 15,000 people have been affected due to the closure of 11 roads. According to the Director, Meteorological Center, Bikram Singh, starting from Monday, there is a forecast of heavy rainfall in most regions of the state.
