Café Delhi Heights Unveils Exquisite Rice Festival at Pacific Mall Dehradun

In a culinary ode to the cultural significance of rice, Café Delhi Heights at Pacific Mall Dehradun proudly announced the “Rice Above the Rest” festival, set to captivate taste buds from January 26th to February 16th.

The festival showcases a specially curated menu that pays homage to the diverse cultural and regional importance of rice in India and beyond. From traditional favorites like Curd Rice and Hyderabadi Biryani to international delights such as Risotto and Chipotle Burrito Bowl, the menu offers a delightful journey of flavors.

Vikrant Batra, Founder of Café Delhi Heights says that the versatility of rice makes it the most loved grain all over the world. Right from the Khichdi, to simple Pulao to fragrant pots of rice and spice meats called biryani, rice is a feast beyond compare. Hence we at Café Delhi Heights thought of curating a special menu to celebrate this very super food.

Chef Ashish Singh, Culinary Director at Café Delhi Heights, expresses enthusiasm about the festival, emphasizing the meticulous selection of rice varieties to ensure an authentic and flavorful dining experience. He added, “For rice enthusiasts and families, this festival is a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of rice-based dishes, celebrating both tradition and innovation. Different varieties of rice like Sela Basmati, Bangaru Theegalu, Rajbhog Arua Rice, Dehradooni Basmati, Illupai Poo Samba, Musk Budij, Goan Short Grain Red Rice (Ukda), Ambe Mohar, Joha etc have been procured to make sure that each dish is prepared at its utmost accuracy with the perfect amalgamation of right flavours, spices and Chef’s Magic.”
