Women’s ethnic wear brand Taneira by TATA has made its debut in Uttarakhand with the launch of its first store in Dehradun. Situated on Rajpur Road near the Clock Tower, the store was inaugurated by the Chief Executive Officer, Taneira, Ambuj Narayan.
The new store is a testament to the brand’s commitment to celebrating India’s rich textile heritage, inviting customers to immerse themselves in a world of artistry and craftsmanship. Echoing the city’s vibrant spirit, the Dehradun store offers a curated selection of Indian weaves, showcasing India’s diverse textile traditions. The store features an exquisite assortment of pure silk Banarasis, Kanjeevarams, Tussars, South Silks, Jamdanis, Chanderis, Maheshwaris, and Cottons, each showcasing revitalized designs.
The store boasts a range of artisanal, handcrafted sarees, blouses, ready-to-wear, and unstitched kurta sets made from pure and natural fabrics. Each piece of clothing is a masterpiece, showcasing the skill and artistry of India’s craftsmen. The carefully curated collection features revived designs and regional signatures.

Launched in 2017, Taneira is a women’s ethnic wear brand from Titan, a TATA group company. It has a network of 76 stores across 38 cities and offers differentiated design sarees, blouses, and ready-to-wear kurta sets made from pure and natural fabrics from over 100+ weaving clusters in India.
Taneira has also launched the ‘Weavershala’ initiative to modernize the weaving techniques, as well as preserve traditional procedures of hand weaving for future generations. Currently, there are ten Weavershalas operational across the country.
