On Thursday, the weather in Uttarakhand changed with Kedarnath valley and the surrounding hills of the Garhwal & Himalayas region received the first snowfall of the season. This came after a prolonged dry spell and caused a considerable drop in the mercury. Apart from snowing being observed in Kedarnath, light to medium rain showers dominated many other parts of the Garhwal region.
