In a significant boost to Uttarakhand’s agricultural and horticultural sectors, the Adani Group has expressed its intention to invest ₹500 crore. The announcement came during a meeting between the Adani Group delegation and Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi. The minister assured the delegation of the government’s full support and swift action to facilitate the investment.
During the meeting, various potential investment opportunities in Uttarakhand’s agriculture and horticulture sectors were discussed. Minister Joshi highlighted the state’s favorable geographical conditions and diverse agro-climatic zones, which are ideal for horticultural crop production. He emphasized that Uttarakhand’s investment-friendly policies have made it an attractive destination for investors across various sectors.
The Adani Group delegation included Head Corporate Affairs North Anand Singh Bhasin, General Manager RK Pandey, and Uttarakhand Organic Board Managing Director Vinay Kumar. They discussed the promising prospects and strategic advantages that Uttarakhand offers for agricultural and horticultural ventures.
