The much-anticipated direct air service between Dehradun and Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, commenced on Tuesday, providing a new and convenient travel option for passengers. Operated by Alliance Air, this service will run three times a week, specifically on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
The inaugural flight, Alliance Air flight number 9I-801, departed from Kullu at 8:25 am with 13 passengers and landed at Dehradun Airport at 9:35 am. After a brief half-hour layover, the return flight, Alliance Air flight number 9I-802, took off at 10 am carrying 46 passengers and arrived in Kullu at 11:20 am. The service utilizes a 72-seater aircraft.
This new route is expected to greatly benefit tourists, devotees, and other passengers traveling between these two destinations. The fare for a one-way ticket from Dehradun to Kullu is set at Rs 3999.
With the addition of this new route, Alliance Air now operates a total of five flights from Dehradun Airport, connecting passengers to Delhi, Ayodhya, Amritsar, Pantnagar, and now Kullu, all following their respective schedules.
