Breaking News: Uttarakhand govt extends Covid Curfew till June 29; market to open 5 days a week

Despite the decreasing COVID-19 cases in Uttarakhand, the state government has further extended the Covid Curfew by another week, i.e., till June 29. As per the new SOP, markets will now be allowed to open five days a week, i.e., Monday to Friday from 8 AM till 5 PM.

Furthermore, hotels, restaurants, and bars have been granted permission to operate with 50% capacity between 6 AM and 10 PMGovernment and private offices are also allowed to run with 50% attendance of employees.

In another development, Chardham Yatra will also start for three districts – Chamoli, Rudraprayag, and Uttarkashi – from July 1. On the other hand, Chardham Yatra will open for all the people across the state from July 11.
