Despite the decreasing cases of COVID-19 in Uttarakhand, the state government has extended the Covid Curfew by another week. Slowly moving towards unlocking, the state government has given some additional relaxation in this week-long curfew.
On Monday, the government’s official spokesperson Subodh Uniyal informed about the extension of Covid Curfew till July 6. According to the new guidelines, the markets will now remain open for six days a week instead of five days as per the earlier guidelines. Moreover, the markets will now open till 7 PM. There will be a night curfew in the state from 7 PM till 6 AM.
In another development, tourist destinations Mussoorie and Nainital will remain open on Sundays and closed on Tuesdays. Along with this, gyms and coaching institutions (of competitive exams) will also open with 50 percent capacity.
Keeping in mind the Delta Plus variant, restrictions for people entering Uttarakhand will remain the same.
