The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in 7 districts of Uttarakhand from September 14 to 16. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall and lightning in Bageshwar, Champawat, Nainital, and Pithoragarh on Tuesday.
The Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for the hilly districts for heavy rainfall on Tuesday. Furthermore, the department issued an orange alert for the coming three days in Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat, Dehradun, Nainital, Pithoragarh, and Tehri.
The Meteorological Department also issued an alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall on September 15 and 16 in Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat, Dehradun, Nainital, Pithoragarh, Tehri, and Uttarkashi. The Director of the Meteorological Department, Bikram Singh, informed that given the orange alert, all the districts have been advised to be alert.
