Uttarakhand’s weather took a turn on Monday, with the state capital Dehradun witnessing strong winds coupled with light pouring since morning.
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is predicted in Chamoli, Rudraprayag, and Uttarkashi and some areas of Dehradun, Pithoragarh, and Tehri districts. Snowfall is also expected in places of altitude 30,000 meters and above.
Hailstorms and lightning are expected in the districts of Almora, Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Pauri, and Uttarkashi.
