Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s film ‘The Kashmir Files’, which is based on the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus, is currently being shot in Mussoorie. Actor Anupam Kher, along with his wife Kirron Kher, who is also an actress and MP, recently reached Mussoorie for the shooting of the film.
As per sources, Anupam Kher and his wife Kirron Kher reached the Savoy Hotel in Mussoorie on Tuesday evening. They were spotted by locals and in no time, a crowd of their fans gathered at the main gate of the hotel. Seeing this, the couple went directly inside the hotel.
The shooting of ‘The Kashmir Files’ has been going on in Mussoorie for the last few days. Till now, the film has been shot in Sisters Bazaar, Library, Hathipaon Park Estate, as well as Lal Tibba. The shooting will resume on December 20 at Sisters Bazar, where Anupam Kher’s sequences will be shot.
The film is based on the story of the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits and is being shot in the hills of Mussoorie to depict Kashmir. It is noteworthy that renowned actor Mithun Chakraborty had also come to Mussoorie a few days ago for the shoot.
