Initially, an unusual sight that later turned out to be the talk of the town was spotting vanity vans, production trucks, and a crowd outside a cafe on Rajpur Road yesterday. Dug deeper and it was Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao shooting for his upcoming film ‘Badhaai Do’ outside a cafe on Rajpur Road, ahead of Mussoorie Diversion.
Rajkummar Rao was seen in a bold avatar sporting a heavy mustache, donning a policeman’s uniform, and sitting on a Green Jawa Forty Two motorbike. Along with the Chhalaang actor were spotted a number of supporting actors, as well as crew members.
On Sunday, a few scenes of Badhaai Do were being shot at the Dehradun Railway Station as well as near ONGC.
Featuring Bollywood actors Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar, the shooting of Badhaai Do commenced on January 5 in Dehradun. In the movie, Rajkummar Rao will be portraying a policeman, whereas Bhumi Pednekar will be seen as a PT teacher. Please note that Badhaai Do is the first Bollywood film to feature Bhumi and Rajkummar together on the big screen.
