The upcoming live rooftop concert Love and Peace Concert will be a fundraiser gig for the recent Chamoli disaster. The gesture behind this concert is to bring love and peace to heal and help those affected due to unexpected tragedy.
It is noteworthy that in the wake of the Chamoli tragedy, Jubin took to his social media accounts to announce the cancellation of his upcoming concert at the Tehri Lake Festival on February 16. As stated, he did so to return the money charged by him to the government to be used for relief measures.
Talking about the upcoming rooftop concert, Jubin said, “Witnessing the unfortunate tragedy in my native state, I wanted to help all those affected in any means possible. As we know that music is a means to bring love and peace, we will be conducting this rooftop concert on February 14, wherein we’ll raise funds, awareness, and reach out to more people. As the saying goes, boond boond se sagar bhar jaata hai, I request people to donate any amount, even as small as a rupee, as it will surely benefit in a big way!”
The rooftop concert will go live on Jubin’s Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook accounts from 5 pm onwards on 14th February.
