It has been 15 days since the Chamoli glacier burst disaster. So far, 68 bodies and 28 body parts have been recovered, while 136 people remain missing.
Uttarakhand: NDRF personnel have reached up to 171 metres inside the Tapovan tunnel. Excavation work went on from 11:50 pm-2:15 am last night to dewater the tunnel.

In the disaster, 465 families from 13 villages have been affected. The bodies being recovered after so many days of the disaster are buried deep in the rubble, because of which it has become difficult to identify them.
