Dehradun’s Shekinah Mukhiya of the singing reality shows Voice India Kids and Superstar Singer fame has commenced with a commendable initiative. Under this initiative, the young talented singer will train aspiring orphan girls from the city. In the first phase, Shekinah will be shortlisting 20 such aspiring girls.
According to Shekinah’s father, Vikas Mukhiya, the singer will be selecting aspiring talented girls from the various city-based orphanages and voluntary organizations. She will be giving 1-1.5 hour training to the selected girls daily. Please note that after four months of training, the top 10 shortlisted girls will get a chance to sing in Shekinah’s studio.
A resident of Dalanwala, Shekinah has conducted and participated in several singing songs in India and worldwide. She has become a popular name in the world of music with her soulful voice and now has pledged to train and promote the less fortunate yet ambitious orphan girls of Dehradun.
