In a notification issued today by the state government authorities, curfew on weekends, also known as Covid Curfew, has been imposed in Dehradun. This Covid Curfew will be imposed every Saturday and Sunday of this month, starting from tomorrow.
In another development, the night curfew timings have been increased. The updated timings for the daily night curfew are 9 PM to 5 AM. This alteration in the night curfew timings will also take place from tomorrow.
Other pointers stated in the notification are as follows:
- All religious, political, and public gatherings, including weddings, to have a maximum of 200 people.
- Public transportation (bus, vikram, auto, rickshaw, etc.) to operate at 50% capacity.
- Cinema halls, restaurants, and bars to operate at 50% capacity.
- Gyms to operate at 50% capacity.
- Coaching centers in all districts to remain closed.
- Swimming pools and spa to remain closed.
- Above mentioned activities to be prohibited in Containment and Micro-Containment Zones.
- Covid Curfew to be imposed every Saturday and Sunday in district Dehradun.
- Covid Curfew to be imposed every Sunday in other districts of the state.
- Government and non-government offices/institutions related to essential services to operate on Saturday in Dehradun.
