The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rainfall in several parts of Uttarakhand for the next four days.

Orange alert for heavy rainfall in certain places in Bageshwar, Champawat, Dehradun, Nainital, Pauri, Pithoragarh, and Rudraprayag has been issued for today.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is predicted at isolated places in Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Pauri, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Tehri, and Udhamsinghnagar on June 12.

An orange alert for heavy rainfall in some places in Champawat, Dehradun, and Nainital, and a yellow alert for rain, strong winds in the rest of the districts, have been issued for June 13.

The weather is likely to remain rough in most parts of the state on June 14, 15, and 16. Given the forecast of heavy rainfall in the next three-four days, the Metrological Department has asked the administration to remain alert in Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, Dehradun, Nainital, Pauri, Pithoragarh, and Rudraprayag.

People have been advised to take precautions due to frequent landslides, rockfall in vulnerable areas, road blockage, overflow in river channels, and waterlogging in low-lying areas. People have also been advised to postpone their travel to the mountains due to the possibility of heavy rain.
