Despite the decrease in the COVID-19 cases in Uttarakhand, the state government has yet again extended the Covid Curfew by another week, i.e., till June 22. Furthermore, Chardham Yatra has also been opened in three districts – Chamoli, Rudraprayag, and Uttarkashi – from June 15. For the same, a negative RT-PCR report has been made mandatory. Similarly, a negative RT-PCR report is compulsory for those coming to Uttarakhand from other states.

In the upcoming Covid Curfew, the government has provided some additional relaxation. Markets will be allowed to open three days a week, whereas sweet shops will open for five days. Moreover, permission has been granted to operate autos and vikrams in the cities. Along with this, it has also been decided to open the Revenue Court.
