Kashyap Samaj of Uttarakhand celebrated the birth anniversary of Maharishi Kashyap and Aaradhya Dev in different parts of the state.
National President of All India Kashyap Nishad Bind Ekta Samta Mahasangh and former state president Santosh Kashyap, along with other members, offered garlands at the Maharishi Kashyap statue and distributed sweets at the Mahant Indresh Hospital Tiraha, which will now be known as Maharishi Kashyap Tiraha. Also present on the occasion were Councillor Satish Kashyap, Ram Singh Pradhan, Raghuveer Singh, Narendra Kumar, Rajneesh Kashyap, Yashpal Kashyap, Jainendra Kashyap, Krishna Kashyap, Renu Kashyap, among others.
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Maharishi Kashyap, many programs were organized in Haridwar, mainly in the villages of Farupur, Bhogpur, and Tikkampur of the Haridwar Rural Assembly. For the construction of a grand temple of Rishi Kashyap in village Kamalanagar, youth participated in the organization of land worship and Bhandara. Along with this, Bhoomi Pujan and Bhandara were organized by Kashyap Samaj in village Purwala of Laksar Vidhan Sabha at the place marked for Maharishi Kashyap’s temple by All India Kashyap Nishad Bind Ekta Samta Mahasangh.
Santosh Kashyap extended best wishes to the entire Kashyap community on the establishment of a grand idol of Maharishi Kashyap at Maharishi Kashyap Ghat, situated on the banks of River Ganga in Haridwar. She expressed her gratitude to the Kashyap Samaj of the entire state and especially to the youth, who were immersed in celebrating the birth anniversary with full dedication, for all the events. On behalf of Kashyap Samaj of the entire state, she also demanded from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to declare a holiday on the occasion of Maharishi Kashyap Jayanti.
