On the occasion of the state foundation day, Dehradun Municipal Corporation will be organizing a mini fair. In this fair, several women from more than 70 self-help groups will put up stalls and exhibit their artwork for three days starting from the 9th of November.
The best stall will be judged by a three-member committee and the participants will be rewarded accordingly. According to the DMC officials, seeing the exceptional work by the women from self-help groups, the authorities will be providing them with a platform to showcase their work. Being organized pre-Diwali, this fair will boost their livelihood.
